Ian McLeod a réalisé ce film primé sur le Dr Mark Nowaczynski, un médecin torontois qui visite des aînés trop faibles pour se rendre au cabinet de leur médecin. Sans ces visites à domicile, la plupart de ses patients seraient forcés de s’installer dans une maison de retraite ou de soins infirmiers. Le film présente trois de ses patients et leur combat pour vieillir dans la dignité.
