Do Patients Treated with Dignity Report Higher Satisfaction, Adherence and Receipt of Preventive Car

Imran · June 29, 2010 ·

Beach et coll. Annals of family medicine. 2005.

Imran · June 29, 2010 ·

Beach CM, Sugarman J, Johnson RL, Arbelaez JJ, Duggan PS, Cooper LA . Annals of family medicine. 2005; 3: 331-338. FREE

The results of this paper suggest that individuals report high satisfaction when treated with dignity and when they are involved in the decision process. Therefore patient autonomy is important – however, respecting patients broadly with dignity is also effective.
